2k racing was formed in 2007 and is owned and operated by Kenny Kiehn racing with ski-doo sleds. Currently the team has 3 racers: Kyle Kiehn (son of Kenny Kiehn), Jamie Koen (cousin of Kenny Kiehn) and Corey Roman (friend of the family).

The formation of the team was due to Kyle's interest in Snow X. When Kyle started racing his cousin Jamie was asked to join the team as well. During their first season they met Corey Roman and were impressed with his racing skills. Soon after Roman was asked to join the team, by Kenny Kiehn.
